Intra School Dance Competition (HIS KOREO)

AIM: To Showcase the innate talents of the Students.

ATTENDEES: Principal of karapakkam Ms Bharathi Lakshmi , Dean Academics Mr Johnson Mathew, HIS Dance Participants and HIS Teachers.

HIS Koreo, an Intra school dance competition, was held at HIS Karapakkam on the 24th of July 2024. Around 36 Students from our school participated in this mega event.

This competition showcased a diverse array of talent and creativity among students. Participants from various grades performed solo and group dances , each reflecting unique styles ranging from the classical to the contemporary .The event was not just a platform for a competition but was also a real celebration of artistic expression and teamwork. Beyond the competition itself , the event served as an opportunity for students to build confidence, develop stage presence and forge friendships through collaborative effort.

HISP students gave solo and group Performance. The winners were announced amidst much anticipation. Trophies and Certificates were given to acknowledge their outstanding performances.

CONCLUSION:

We are happy that our students have won 1st and 3rd prize for solo dance and 3rd prize for group performance. These prizes are a testament to our school’s commitment to nurturing both academic and excellence in extracurricular activities.
